Film Club screening – The Whale

This semester, we’re adding a film club to our programme, with the first event featuring Charlie (Brendan Fraser), a 270-pound English teacher. The protagonist of Darren Aronofsky’s (Black Swan, Requiem for a Dream) new film, Charlie lives in isolation from the world, with his only friend Liz (Hong Chau) trying to help him through his daily life. Charlie feels he has little time left, so he decides to repair his relationship with his estranged daughter Ellie (Sadie Sink).

The screening starts at 18:00, but please arrive at least 15 minutes before the film starts.
The film will be shown in english language with hungarian subtitles.
